find out if there is something he or she REALLY likes for breakfast ...

It is possible that someone has made it unpleasant?????

It could be a hormonal change, in which case
it would be nice to be very sweet and friendly and have things around that smell good ... and look good, like a nice coffee cake with nuts on top or something of the like ... anything to act as an appetite whet and then the child may venture more into different things.... if the past breakfast stuff is rejected, leave it at that .

I would try ... without nagging ... school days can be very cold and dreary on an empty stomach ... unless there is a cache of chips or something good like that hidden from view .... could that be it? Maybe!! That would ruin my breakfast too, especially if I am trying to get away from Mom / and being a baby!!!

Is there anything that you have (drink) for breakfast that might be thrilling to have a little of for a 13 year old? It's bad, man, to be 12 ... but to be 13 is worse! I'm not grown up, you see... and that hurts!!! 'Cause I have my pride!!!!

Then that 13 year old is going to be fat when they get older. The overwhelming majority of fat people do not eat breakfast--and they think they should be skinny because they dont eat breakfast: wrong! Breakfast starts your metabolism going and your body burns fat. But that 13 year old is learning a bad habit very early in life. If they want to be a fat adult, thats their problem.

im 13 and i dont eat breakfast so all this stuff about lacking nutrition, headaches, depression, not true at all.

Most schools serve lunch around 11 or 12, so its basically breakfast anyway. School food is obviously not as healthy as can be, put a goood packed lunch from home should definetly make up for this claimed "loss of energy" that others say.

HOPE I COULD HELP!!

WEll breakfast is truly the most important meal of the day.

For example. if you dont eat breakfast, your metabloism will be slow. Which means you are not gonna burn off and carbs or fat that you have, So all the food that you ate, just stays in your stomache.
Secondly, you don't have any energy and yu can get hungry.

I suggest have Special K cereal for breakfast, it's really good.
Just try to eat something, it's healthy for you.

I hope I helped=]

Some parents are making their children to eat, but I don't think its right, so.. just have a little talk wilt 13 years old Buddy. And tell him that he/she will always have a headache, if he/she will not eat breakfast. Otherwise child Will be really tired at school so.. just tell him/her that their body is growing up & they just NEED breakfast

Good Luck!!! ;)

I didn't have breakfast looooooooooooooooooooooooooots of times when i was around that age and NEVER had the least bit of problems. No headaches, no lack of energy....so don't listen to these people. It depends on the kid.....and I ASSUME if he's having problems like that he'll....eat breakfast maybe?

They'll get tired, worn down, and depressed......now who wants that.....i suggest eating breakfast, you dont need to eat a LOT but even eating something small like a granola bar is better than eating nothing at all.

nothing horrible will happen, but not eating breakfast has been linked with childhood obesity, diabetes and the like...

they dont have to eat a huge breakfast, just make sure they eat SOMETHING, like a glass of OJ or a poptart to hold them through until lunch

then he wouldn't reach the maximum capacity of his body and his growth potentials. eating breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and not just for 13-year olds but for any ages, at that.
