She didn't mean it. And even if she did you should have gone out on a limb for her anyway. Your her husband and a wife wants to feel wanted and loved. As a woman we still want to feel that passion and romance in the relationship even years later. You don't have to do it all the time just show her you still care. Tell her she's beautiful and mean it. Come up behind her and massage her shoulders without her asking. Send her flowers to her work or if she doesn't work surprise her and bring flowers home for her. Take her to a special romantic dinner but make it a surprise. She just wants to know you still care. When she said that she was probably testing you to see what you would do. And boy oh boy did you ever fail.
