What ever you do, don't forget the sesame oil! I didn't realize how much flavor it adds until I first used it! If I have a lot of left over white rice from chinese food I ordered, I make a second meal with it.
I just heat up my wok with sesame oil and add mixed vegtables (corn, onion, garlic, beans, carrots, whatever!). Then I throw in some chopped chicken or pork (already cooked) and heat that through. Once everything's nice and hot, I throw in the left over rice, bean sprouts and some soy sauce. Make sure to cover the wok at this point because the rice needs to absorb the moisture or it stays crunchy. Once done, I sprinkle some sesame seeds on top for added flavor.
It's a great way to use all that left over white rice!

There are so many. What do you want to make? Chicken? Stir fry? Whatever it is, you should start with the basics: soy sauce, fresh grated ginger, crushed garlic.
