you can train them to go the way you want...just use a flat or curling iron everyday to do what you want with tham and eventually...it won't be so hard to keep them that way...if you are talking about side swept bangs...it's all in the way they are trimmed so you may want to go to your stylist and specify what you want.

I had this problem and changing the way I styled it wouldn't fix it. My stylist was cutting my bangs incorrectly which caused them to do this. You can either tell your stylist about the problem next time you get a cut or if you don't have relationship with a particular one, try someone different next time.

Use a different part on your head. I use a side part and my bangs follow that part...I want them straight across though..Is there a part for that?!

I suggest when getting out of teh shower push your hair to the sides to make sidebangs. You need to train your hair, so it might take abit. If you want front bangs, i suggest you wet your bangs and comb them to in front of your eyes and blowdrying straight down. Plus, i suggest a straightener? If not, go to a salon for help.

well, in my opinion to look pretty is to have your bangs be layered and have them down or to part your hair to the side thats what I did for picture day.

it's just gonna take awhile for you to train them to go differently, when you get out of the shower and your hair's still wet try bobby pinning them down the way you want them. try sleeping with them like that and after awhile it should start to do it naturally.

If you've already tried the basics, like gel or mousse and it doesn't work, you may want to try a salon.
