I need a good amount of dental work down but my insurance isn't going to cover enough of the cost. I heard about colleges offering dentistry at a discount along with state assistance. My credit isn't that great so I doubt I could go that route. Can somebody give some advice as to what to do? I live in the state of TN.

If you don't have much money and have poor credit, then you should have taken better care of your teeth. Sounds like you are looking for a "free ride" at the public taxpayer's expense. There are probably Medicaid dental offices near you. Either that, or find a School of Dentistry where you can have students work on you at very discounted rates.

Ouch! I'm sure you can work out a payment plan of some sort. Look for some clinics that go by your income.
