my friend and her boyfriend want to get married her mom is going to sign the papers her boyfriend is 20 years old she is 17 can they get married?

You have to pay for a marriage's license but then you will either have to arrange for a judge to marry you or get a reverand to do so and you may want to give him some money for the service he provides.

If her parents sign for her then no you do not have to go to court but you have to pay for that piece of paper.

With parental consent, yes. You need to pay for marriage license and possibly may have to get blood tests . If the girls is 17 and living with her parents the parents insurance will pay for the blood test for her only. I wish her the best of luck. 17 is awfully young to start married life. Specially if she is pregnant. I hope her family and loved ones are very supportive.

It is not free they have to pay for a marriage license and filing fee also!
