Chrissy, she doesn't want side bangs. She wants swoop bangs. They're two completely different things. For swoop bangs, when you're blow drying your hair, get a round brush and and brush your bangs into it, blow dry your hair on the brush for about 5 minutes. They'll be a little swoopy. Once you've done that, go about drying to rest of your hair. Once your hair is completely dry, get a curling iron and curl your bangs with the iron horizontally, just as you would curl the rest of your hair(except vertically). Keep doing this over and over each day, and soon they'll be swoopy by themself.

I have had my bangs to the side like that for a couple years now and it really opens up the face and also allows you to have some cute bangs. I blow dry and straighten my hair like normal and keep a little portion of the bangs to one side so it doesn't look like I have a come-over bang look lol Some people look ridiculous when they do that. Just get a brush and put however much you want to to the side and you can used a small, "round" brush to give the bangs a little volume while rotating it and flicking it out so it stays in place and has a little style to it. It is kind of hard to explain but you just have to train it and it will look great. I don't know exactly what you are looking for though because it depends on the style and length

It sounds to me that you cut them too short? Unfortunately, if the length just isn't there, it isn't there. You'd have to wait for the hair to grow. You *could* also try a straightening iron on them: quite often, super-straightening hair can add a little length. You also might consider adding a wee bit more hair into your bangs and cut them longer and adding layers. That would "scoop" your shorter bangs into the longer hair, thus making it so you could swoop them to the side.

Are you talking about bangs swept to the side?

Try a side part then take the side of your bangs you want swept to the side and use a round brush/hair dryer and keep pushing them over to the side. Use under/over to the side sweeping motions...

Usually works best on eyebrow length/longer bangs though...

Mine usually end up that way because I use a side part.
I go for the straight across ALA' Reese Witherspoon after the divorce bangs....She looks hot with those new bangs or the Nelly Furtado bangs like in that video with the helicopter...

Remember, round brush, under/over sweeping motion w/ a dryer...

ok this realy works! you take little strands not one at a time but a little and twist it . twist twist twist.. then cut about a tiny bit then take the next little bit and do the same try to cut the same amount each time.. you will love it. just take small amounts you can always go back and take more,. I saw this a long time ago on a morning show and I have been cutting bangs for girls ever since.. I call them whispy bangs because thats what the hair dresser on the show called them.

After you get out of the shower, part your bangs to the side. You have to let them dry like that over and over to train your hair.

Its all in the way you part it. Then you have to straighten the hair and bump it in the direction you want it to swoop.if your hair isnt that long you mite want to wrap it in the direction of the swoop as well.
