I'll be taking vacation probably in september and I'm trying to find a very inexpensive, but fun place to go. I'm looking for somewhere warm, that there's lots to do, but I could always just relax.

Go on a cruise with the Royal Carribean. It is awesome. I went on a five day cruise to the Bahamas $500 not inlcuding the airfare. My second cruise was a 7 day cruise to mexico, jamaica, cayman islands, and labadee. you dont have to leave the boat because there is so much to do such as ice skate, see the movies, broadway shows, rock climbing, dance, play adult games, gamble, party, have pool parties, win gifts from the staff, order room service, eat all day, sleep all day, and be served by the best waiters and maids. I think I paid $1000 of course not inlcuding airfare. I cannot wait to go back.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA!!!!! The rates drop in September and the water and temperature are still very warm!!!!! It's the most incredible island, only 12 miles long and 5 miles wide....it's filled with so many fun things to do. Just google the city and state and you'll be surprised. Should be able to rent a villa (condo) fun under $600 per week. Which is nice ~ you'll have a kitchen, saves $$, if you eat in a couple of times. Every Tuesday night there's fireworks, you can golf, play tennis, rent bikes and ride on the beach and shop or just sight-see, so much to do. You must drive down to the bottom of the island and see the Lighthouse~it's just amazing. And Savannah, GA is only 30 min. from there. If you got to HHI ~ take a day and go to Savannah and visit "River Street" Not sure where you live.....we are in Ohio and it's about a 10 hour drive, not bad, because it's a one day drive. We love it there!!!!!! Have fun!!!!!! Watch out for the Alligators! It's cool, we saw them lounging buy the water in Sea Pines (which is where the lighthouse is). It's a great place and you can do it for cheap. That's exactly what we do...to save $$$!!!

Placerville, California. A little bitty town that still has a great feel to it. You also have some of the prettiest scenery on the entire planet to see. You can hike (lots of places), horseback ride, or mountain bike (take yours or rent one) on some phenomenal single track or downhill courses. Apple Hill is just up the road, which in September is home to all things apple and crafty. You can buy apples, apple pies, some of California's noted wines, and all sorts of other stuff there. In September, the temperature is generally in the 80's and the nights cool off. There are lakes and rivers, and water temperature is generally in the high 60's then too, so swimming, river rafting, water skiing, boating, jet-skiing, fishing are all viable options. The Gold Rush started there, so there is a lot of gold mines, and Coloma's Gold Discovery Site. Thomas Kinkade (the Painter of Light) is from Placerville, so if you have seen his paintings (and you can't swing a dead cat without hitting something with one of his paintings on it), you may see some familiar scenes. Sacramento is about 40 minutes away (about an hour to the Airport).

When we went to Mexico - I had SO much fun! There was so much to do, but , really you could just sit around by the ocean and do NOTHING! AND the trip was where you could pay for it all up front - so you could get up and eat ANYtime you want! I think sitting around and eating is the perfect vacation! It was warm sunny, nad just the perfect place to go! If i were you - i'd look into it!

have you ever considered gold panning? the kits are relatively inexpensive, and the experience is very memorable. even if you don't get a single flake of gold, it's still nice to just get away from the rat race of every day life and sit and listen to nature.

Miami Beach, Florida is always a great place...(unless...I guess, if you live there...) If you book it very far in advance..like now..you can probably go for cheap.
Maybe if you don't live in New York you can visit NYC, it's a great place for tourists!

Good luck, and have fun!

you will possibly desire to flow some place heat the place there's a sea coast. My son enjoyed the sea coast while he grew to become into that age. Corpus Christi or some place like that would desire to be a blast. Plus it is going to likely be a metamorphosis from February climate (till you reside some place like that already!)
