get a new boyfriend! LOL!
You can NOT get people to change
TRUST ME! I have wasted decades of my life waiting and hoping for my bf/husband to wake up and realize the potential he held inside of himself
If you are determined to tough it out, then be prepared to walk away when his behavior is intolerable -- otherwise you are only enabling him. If he sees that you will only be with him when he behaves in a civil manner then it may help to motivate him a little.
Read the article:
"What Shamu Taught Me About A Happy Marriage"
by Amy Sutherland of the New York Times
Here's a quote: "The central lesson I learned from exotic animal trainers is that I should reward behavior I like and ignore behavior I don't. After all, you don't get a sea lion to balance a ball on the end of its nose by nagging. The same goes for the American husband."

You should be calm and assertive about it (not emotional), but you have to tell him to leave until he's in a better mood. Or you leave while he's behaving this way. You can meet up later when he's in a better mood. Hanging around someone while they're behaving badly only encourages more of the same. If he wants to spend time with you (and he probably does) he needs to understand and learn the correct behavior around you. It's called respect. First respect yourself enough to demand decent behavior, then show him how to respect you by not allowing him to be an azhole around you.
Good luck.

First, you need to understand what is the source of this humor change in your boyfriend, then you can open a discussion with him and tell him what you do not like. Create a peaceful atmosphere so he doesn't get more angry then needed.
Open topics of discussions such as:
I do not like it when you are always grumpy.
Why are you always acting so angry?
I find your angryness annoying, could it be possible to explain what is going on with your attitude these days?
An open couple can discuss anything, good luck!

People aren't so grumpy and hard headed if they are trying to get something they want. He is being how he really is...I hope you like it...cause they don't change until they have too.
Put your foot down. Move on if you have too..but say it is unacceptable and see if it changes. If not, learn to accept it or find another.
That is reality.

let him be alone- literally. tell him to call you when he is feeling more cheerful- and not until then. you have better things to do than help someone nurse their own misery. its attention seeking behavior, and when you stop paying attention it will stop. if it doesn't - move on.

Does your b/f get enough sleep? Believe me, you cannot change them - either accept him the way he is, or check out.

There is no way for you to change him. Unless he himself wants to change, you have nothing that you can do to make him be the way you want him to be.

He is what he is, and you can't change him. A person will only change when they want that change for themselves,,,
