i think so yes,i felt that way about my ex,i loved him in some ways but hated him in others,i just couldnt work out how i felt in the end-hence splitting up,havent been upset though,so guess the hate was more the true feeling

oh yes. i also am currently in a similar situation. it sucks. usually, there is something unresolved from your past together, that you are still upset about. however, you still have real feelings for this person. try to mend relationships and start out as just friends. hopefully, things will turn out for the better.

yes lord. i loved my ex with a passion but soon as he hurt me i wished he was dead. then i kept repeating that cycle for many years now i just wish he was dead.
