If you are totally happy with your hair right now, no! do not dye it, especially if it is your natural hair color. I did the same and it took five years to grow out. Plus, really don't do it just cause your friends are; you'll regret it.
But if you really want a change, I suggest getting some different color hair and experiment. When you find the color you like, trust me you will know. Go with that color, if you want it to be permanent. If not, play with the extentions, they are more temporary and fun.

I always get pressured to highlight or change my hair color when I have my hair cut at the salon. Even to have this colored shine treatment its $50. You can see why they push it! Its up to you. I have just avoided it because of the extra cost. I treated myself to a half hour massage instead.

in my view, i might choose for some thing particularly funky, like some vibrant purple highlights. If that's not probable your sort nevertheless, attempt in basic terms a shade lighter than your organic hair shade, like chestnut brown, not some thing cheesy like caramel, because of the fact organic looking highlights will make you seem warmer. additionally, some thing cheesy looking like blond might crush your hair, because of the fact it particularly is textured. So possibly purple does not be the final theory, on the grounds which you have wavy hair. i in my view think of you ought to attempt some thing organic. bypass on your salon, and tell them you like organic looking highlights, they're going to aid you locate the final shade for you, which potential do not attempt to grant your self highlights at domicile, it particularly is rather confusing, and could not finally end up appropriate. good success!

Yeah you should when you have JET black hair, like mine too LOL, it would be beautiful for any color. I suggest something like red, or blue. Not too much because you want to leave that mysterious black in your hair. It will look beautiful.

i would use a light brown.
my friend though has black hair, and she highlighted her hair with like an auburn red. it looked sooo pretty! you could use that if you still want to keep your hair on the darker side.
good luck! :]

i think black hair is strikingly beautiful; why would you want to ruin it putting highlight on? i have seeing girls with blonde highlights and it looks terrible. instead , concentrate on your lipsticks ;like hot pink lipstick; or a lipstick that have some magenta in it. or your clothe to make it come out alive; wear lavender, greens, reds.

A chocolate brown looks amazing on most black hair.
Or a subtle brownish-red.
