Sometimes it is your natural hair and texture that just makes it frizzy. It could also be the weather, like rain or humidity. I know that if I straighten my hair but it snows and all the snow gets on my hair, my hair becomes very coarse and frizzy. It can also occur when you get out of the shower and you rub your hair with a towel.

Maybe you are asking scientically what makes it happen, but i know for those things cause frizz for me

My hairdresser tells me its from wearing my hair back too tight. It stresses and breaks your hair, resulting in in frizzies. Its also caused by humidity, or very dry climates. I use an anti frizz/ hair repair serum. (Cure, by Biosilk) Its great.
