It doesn't take seven years for your gum to pass!!! It passes at a normal rate and doesn't do anything harmful to your body. Don't worry you're fine. Although it's kinda funny that you can swallow it without noticing! : ) You can eat after you swallow gum too. You won't choke.

I used to swallow my gum all the time when I was a kid, until the day I swallowed a lot of gum and there was some an issue upon exit. Don't ask more because it was pretty icky, but it did cure me of the gum swallowing :)

Other than maybe getting an upset stomach, nothing bad will happen.
I have been swallowing gum since I was 5. Never had any problems.

It digests out in 48 hours. But be on the safe side and just don't swallow your your gum.

I use to swallow gum when little and always remember my father telling me it would get stuck,, and that I would have to go to hospital for doctor to cut it out of my stomach,,,, It cured me from swallowing gum....

you really should try to not swallow gum. it doesnt digest and if you swallow a lot it can effect your umm.. poop.

gum is made of plant celluose, your body can't digest it, it will usually pass through.

swallowing alot of gum over time can cause your intenstines to stick together. Then require surgrey to remove the blob. Your body cannot digest gum.
