You can donate your hair to Locks of Love...they are online...www.locksoflove.org You need to have at least 10 inches to donate. first you should shampoo and dry it, put it in a ponytail with a large rubber band, and then either braid it or put a small rubber band on the bottom of the ponytail. this is so that when they receive it they know which way the hair grows naturally.then have your stylist cut it, for the sake of your finished style..Then put in a plastic bag, then an envelope and mail to Locks of Love.

There is an organization called Locks of Love. The hair is made into wigs for children undergoing chemotherapy.I'm sure if you look up this organization on line you'll find out all the details.

you should be able to donate it @ any salon. find out what to do with it when it gets done. and also make sure you do all this BEFORE you cut it.
