Most golf courses require you to be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license. This is for insurance purposes, and it's also the law in some states (very few states allow 14-year-olds to drive a cart).

Most golf courses ask that you be 16 and show your licence to them.

the law says 14 but... most golf courses want to you be 15 (show permit.. depending on the state) and 16 (show license... depending on the state). most of the time it does depend on state laws/rules and golf course rules. but.. if your family buys one for fun.. then you would have to be 14.. if u want to follow the law but if not.. then its up to your parents :)
