Talk to him!! Open the lines of communication with him so he can feel comfortable talking to you about his lifestyle! If you don't agree with it, tell him you don't agree, but that you love him no matter what he wears. It is a strong possibility that he is gay! You need to search your soul and work through the negative feelings you have before you approach him!
I have 4 boys, I honestly don't know how I would handle something like this. I do know that I love my boys unconditionally and that no matter what they do, nothing will change that. I wouldn't facilitate the behavior and I wouldn't tell him that I support it, but I would make it clear that I love him. As parents, it is our job to draw the line with our children. There are things you shouldn't allow no matter what! Think about it, and use your descretion. I don't think that piercings are appropriate for kids under 18 - period, just my opinion.
Good luck!!

Let him ride it out. If you're not comfortable about it or feel that he may be sitting on the fence with his sexual preference, then talk to him. Don't make it one of those, "I'M THE PARENT AND WHILE YOU LIVE HERE, YOU DO WHAT I SAY!" talks, but let him know how you feel about it and find out why he's into it. If you decide to let him ride it out and are still uncomfortable about it, ask him just not to wear the makeup and polish in certain places. It may just be a stage and if it is, at least you'll have some good pictures to show that special girl he brings home one day..lol.

As a 26 300 and sixty 5 days old male that's presently wearing a bra, panties and vivid crimson lipstick, in my view enable him do what he needs. Pushing him away will make issues confusing and you will locate itch much less annoying in case you settle for the reality that he purely purely likes the feel of makeup. he's not killing everyone via doing it.

That is not that uncommon for guys his age to wear this type of stuff. I think the more you try to push one way he is going to act the other. He still needs boundries on behavior but he should be able to have his own sense of being himself. He would probably outgrow this as he matures.

It is probaly just a faze...he will probaly experiment with different styles and change from one to a totally new "thing" in a couple of months...I wouldn't have a problem so much with the nail polish, or piercings...but I am a woman and I don't even like makeup. But everyone is different.

Let him be who he is. Most kids his age grow out of that phase eventually. It is his body and in the end if you try and stop him he may grow to resent you. If you let him be who he is, then he'll be fine. If it really bothers you, sit down with him and talk with him. Find out why he likes to dress like this and what it means to him.

Ask him nicely to stop wearing girls stuff and be an example to him.
If he doesn't listen punish him, but only if you are a good example.
Good example is: If you are a dad then you listen and obbey Jesus Christ. If you are a mom you listen and obbey your husband.
If you are not doing that, you are too late and you have no right to spank him or punish him.
Change your life, become a good example, tell him to stop, if he doesn't listen then punish him.

Kids will be kids...its a stage and he will get over it.
My nephew went through the stage of him having green hair, he evenutally got over it. My six year old wants to grow his hair out..and have hair down to his butt(like his uncle). My other son, wants his head shaved.....its just kids being kids..that's what they do.

It doesn't necessarily mean he's gay, he could be experimenting. He could also be doing it to piss off mom & dad. Any piercings should wait until he's 18 and he's earned the money to pay for them. He should also have the money to pay for doctors visits when they get infected. 16 is waaaay too young to make those decisions unless he is emaciapted and paying his own bills, not living at home. I'm a hard a s s, I know it. As for the make up, no way. If I caught mine wearing make up, unless it was like KISS make up, they'd have a choice: wear the make up or continue to live at home.

I would probably do the same as I would for a 16 year old daughter: tell her its her body, but piercing is permanent and can cause infection. As far as the makeup goes... I grew up during the 80's so unless I run around & hide all my Adam Ant albums it would be pretty hypocritical. Congratulations, you have a teenager!
