Okay, so normally, my face is pretty acne free. I get the ocassional pimple here and there, but other than that, I have pretty good skin. But around that time of the month, I get that one HUGE pimple that you just dread leaving you're house with, like now. And it's not the type of pimple you can just pop, it's the one that doesn't seem to be finished growing, even though it appears to be the size of a planet. So, what can I do to get rid of this, that isn't going to cost a lot of money? I'm talking like, homemade remedies and stuff. And I work tomorrow and I seriously don't wanna go with this huge zit on my forehead.
Thanks for any tips you can give me in advance :)

My brother has pro-active and he's been gone for the past week so i snagged his and i've been using that and this was BEFORE the pimple made a home for its self on my face. I thought that stuff was supposed to prevent that from happening?! Waste of $50 if you ask me..

before you go to bed apply tooth pate on the pimple, this will dry it out, and stop it from growing, in the morning wash the tooth paste off and your pimple should have already shrunk in size. You will probably still need to use a little cover up but your pimple should be hardley noticable!! Dont you just hate it when you get a pimple like that? Also if you wanted to prevent this from happening again Wash your face with warm water and sugar, the sugar works as a expholiant and removes dead skin and also clears pores to prevent pimples! Cool huh? Washing your face with bakingsoda, or apple cider vinegar does the job too!
HOpe I helped
Bye!

Lol....You mean like this marble I have been sporting myself the past few days??? lol... Prominently located on chin area to the side of lower cheek.
Number 1 Rule - Dont squeeze or play with it. As I learn month after month, this does nothing but make it swell larger and more red.
You could try an ice block wrapped in a hankerchief and apply gently to pimple - like an ice compress, it may help reduce some of the swelling.
If there is a lot of surrounding redness, I've read a drop or two of eyedrops (the 'gets the red out' kind) on top of the pimple can constrict the blood vessels, lessening the blood flow so it wont be throbbing neon red.
Good Luck !

Personally I feel the same way about proactive. It was a big waste of money for me. I have a couple of black heads and during that time of month I get a huge planet on the side of my face or my forehead or where ever to. I wash my face with Netrogena Makeup remover and wash twice a day. After I wash my hands I wash my face with hot water to open my pores and to wash away the dirt. I then splash my face with cold water to close the pores. I see a dermatologist once every month and I us ea cream called differin. It helps because it dries up my zits and gets rid of them after about a couple of days of using the cream. I also use a mask twice a week to dry up my zits also. I do not recommend using a peel of mask, just a regular oatmeal or avocado mask from the super market that dries up and then you can wash it off. I also use cover up to cover up the redness of a zit. I recommend oil free cover up that's liquid, not powder, because the oil clogs your pores and it still covers your zits but if forms new ones to but oil free ones don't do that. Hope that helps!!!!

Lemon juice, olive oil, and suger is a homemade way. Also get
vingar (an type) and put it on the pimple. It will sting put the pimple will get smaller. Maybe put concealer on it so you can't really tell. Good Luck! I hope it goes away!

Sometimes proactive dont really work for anyone. Well my Mom used to put lipstick on the pimple coz she said it would make it dissappear pretty quickly which kinda did.
You could also use a concealer i think. just until the pimple dissappears.

i know exactly how you feel. that is why i absolutely DREAD that time of the month. i use an on-the-spot acne treatment. there`s this little tube from neutrogena, it`s white & orange, it`s called neutrogena on-the-spot acne cream. put it on the your pimple, by the end of the day, the pimple should be less noticeable.

i am a guy and i know this. get a skin mosturizer with micro-beads in it. After scrubbing that into your face pretty hard, put on like any liquid acne-medication. this will seep into your pours and go to work. after all that, apply a layer of mosturizing lotion.
