Your allergic to their hair!! Either avoid dogs, or buy a labradoodle-hair not fur!! I would advise staying away from dogs, it probably does not make them your fav. animal!!:)

I am not a doctor, but I do have an answer for you. If you go to an allergy clinic they can desensetize you by giving you shots. I have done this. You go to the clinic and they give you one shot a week in small doses. After they give the shot, you must sit in the waiting room for at least 20 minutes to make sure you don't have any strong reactions to it. After 8-12 weeks of shots, you will no longer be allergic to dogs. If you have insurance, it will more than likely cover this. Good luck to you!
Also, poodles are non-allergenic dogs because their fur is different from other dogs. They also don't shed.

We have had two supposedly "hypo-allergenic" dog: a Llasa apso we had for 12 years and a Yorkipoo we bought five months ago. I was not allergic to the Llasa, but the poodle-mix is driving me crazy. The difference? The puppy licks and pees. Dog saliva and urine are the two biggest causes for allergies. I changed my allergy medication - Zyrtec at 10 mg. rather than Allegra - and that has helped some. Also, we bathe her every week, and I sanitize my hands and arms after I hold her. Also, we clean her crate regularly. It's helped.

I'm not a doctor, but my son has an asthma attack just being in the same area as a dog. It's due to the dander, or skin shedding. The advice my doctor gave him? Stay away from dogs. Allergy shots may work, but they can't possibly cover the differences in some breeds whose dander is different. Just say NO to dogs.

Ceegt is right about allergy shots helping, but they may take up to two years to start working. I had allergy desensitation shots for nine years. It took two years to help and five years to get the full benefit. Check with your insurance. Some companies, like Cigna, do not cover it.

I am not a doctor but I stayed @ a Holiday Inn Express last night. Have you tryed just reg Claritin or Allegra? They are really for allergies like pollen, but it might help you out.
