I have been dating this guy for the past year and totally scared of dancing in front of him. How can I get over this shyness? I have no problem dancing by myself, love to, and when I am with firends at a club I have a hard time starting but when I do I deon't stop but I cant dance in front of this guy, sometimes we are driving in the car and a good song comes on the radio and he starts singing and dancing and I really want to too, but my body wont do it.

Well, I think because you are really into this guy and you're focusing on how to act around him. It's normal, a lot of people are like that; they don't know how to act around someone they really admire. As a result, you're not being yourself that includes not dancing. You should, once and for all, eliminate that mentally or it's going to turn your guy off - quickly! First of all, you need to be yourself and get yourself comfortable around him. By doing that, you need to be confident and comfortable of yourself. You really don't have to impress him because this is the only way you're going to know if he likes you for being you! Who knows, I could be wrong, he doesn't like a girl that dances - then it is his lost! too bad for him 'cause you're NOT going to change yourself for this fella. But yeah, you just really have to put A LOT of thoughts about him, you should see him first as a GOOD friend that you can confront to about anything. He is not some kind of a teacher, boss, God etc. that you have to watch your moves, he is this guy you JUST like because he likes hanging out with you. Now, he may not anymore since you're too caught up on how to act around him. Change that. do something about it ;) Good luck!

first of all congrats on making it to senior year! i'm at the instant a sophomore, and that i think of I already have senioridus haha! anyhow, i know that preforming in front of folk is nervwracking as hell. yet think of of it this manner. it rather is a while to polish! not many people have that staggering present of making a music, i know i don't. in case you may sing at domicile, or in the bathe, you may sing in front of four hundred + people, little question approximately it. so some distance as your voice, i might drink a great number of heat tea the day previously and cut back the speaking. That way you may relax your voice. good success!!!
