That's the first time I've smiled all day.

Lol!!!! You just took me back to Xmas 1979, I got a brand new black and silver chopper, and I went hysterical!!! They are worth a fortune now in good condition. I used to give everyone "backies" up and down the street it was easy with the seat being so big!!! Do you remember the baby version, the Chippy? And the Budgie and the Boxer, the baby versions of the grifter!!!

Oh happy days!!!!

first of all did you take any photos as backup. was the grifter rider drunk or acting strange. did you get the names and addresses of any witnesses. but most importantly was the chopper damaged, and as a chopper rider you should know that grifter riders are usually large fat nummpties, with only 2 brain cells working at any one time but never while they are riding, so i should advise you to stay clear of any grifters in the future.

Beware of those damn Choppers! The smaller wheel at the front, coupled with those handlebars, was a dangerous design fault!

Get one of those bikes going down a long hill and ye pick up speed. Great fun. Till the handlebars start to vibrate. Then shake. Then, as ye Really moving, they finally flip.

Wheel jack knifes. Handlebars are wrenched from ye grasp. Skin meets road at high speed. Realising what's about to happen is almost as bad as the big event itself. And touching those breaks only makes it all more instantaneous.

I don't think it was just fashion that saw the back of those death traps.

Quit being the town bike rider and getting cross bar men to ride you home. Raleigh round and stop blaming your premenstrual cycle for everything.
