Really. I didn't see that report yet. Not disbelieve you, but I would have thought it would be a top story.
It is a fact that both the Byzantine and Islamic empires thrust the world into the dark ages with their conservatism and belief we, the people were sheep to be led.
The REnnesance and Protestantism, broke the Byzantine back and cause even that group to reform.
Nothing has caused that in Islam.
At the TIME of Jesus Persians and Arabs in Iraq were among the most intellegent humans on Earth.
Today they have to import their Atomic technology from less conservative nations like PAkistan.
And the Ayotollah is now purging all liberal professors from the university in Tehran.
That's not the way to develop bright thinkers, but maybe they don't want thinkers!

Muslims are the targets of other muslims because of the divisions into sects. This is also true in Christianity, with Catholics killing Protestants and vice-vera. The problem is fundamental differences taken to extremes. Islam is not the only religion with terrorists and suicide bombers. The majority of muslims, like chritians and jews and buddhists and hindus and whatevers, are peaceloving people. Religion is a too often used excuse for violence.

No TRUE Christian would ever blow up another person or persons. I would hope that no true Muslim would not do it either. I dont know any muslims, but I would assume this is against their beliefs. The terrorists must be muslims in name only.
