i want to make a pots & pan holder to hang from my kitchen cieling or window but i don't want to pay alot of money for a new one, can someone give me and idea of something hanging around the shed or garage that would make a good kitchen rack?

Get a piece of chain and a couple lag hook bolts. Find the ceiling joist and screw the lags into them at the length you want to hang pans in. Make sure the hooks point away from each other so the chain doesn't come unhooked. You can then use different size "S" hooks on the chain and pot handle. Or make your own hooks from some 1/8" smooth metal rod.

Several ideas. First, I made mine out of rigid copper pipe and fittings. Its quite large and cost about $50 to make. I've also see them made out of baby crib spring racks and that looked cool as well. One of the coolest though was made from an old wrought iron gate.
