It could be a Jenday conure, which makes it likely to be someone's escaped pet.

Does it have a hooked bill? Yellow head and wings sounds like a Sun Conure, but it sounds like a lot of other birds too, especially depending on how yellow it is, and size is a huge factor.

There are feral colonies of parrots throughout the US, but I don't think there are conures in Ohio. There are Conures in at least California and Florida. The most likely parrot to be in Ohio is a Quaker, but they're green and grey.

So yeah, most likely if it is a parrot, it's someone's recently escaped pet.

it might be a parakeet. These are two of their many colors. It might be someone's pet and could have escaped so if it looks like it belongs to someone you should put flyers around the neighborhood to see if anyone is missing a bird. The same thing happaned to me. I found a parakeet in our backyard and it ended up being someone's.
Good luck!

most likely, it is someone's pet bird that has escaped. if it is a smaller bird, than it is most likely a parakete or small parot. if it is a very large bird, than that is possible as well. look for a band around one of its legs. it will be either plastic or metal. if it has one than it is someone's pet. if not, it is wild. (we do have a few of them naturally and during migration)
if you happen to catch it, turn it in to the nearest veterinary clinic and they can track down its owner from the band.
