I have been having this recurring dream for the last 8years that
started in my early teens. They all pretty much have the same theme,
context and general setup. There's usually 1 or more guys that are
trying to subdue and rape me. The thing is that in all these dreams I
always am able to get away unharmed. But these dreams are more like
nightmares where I am very very terrified cuz these men are trying to
subdue me though they have never succeeded. The other thing is that
though they have never succeeded, so how do I know that they are
actually trying to rape me? I know its a weird question, but usually
they are trying to corner me in or surround me and block pathways to
prevent me from escaping and getting out. They've never verbally said
what they were going to do. What can this mean

Have you ever been intimate? It could be that you fear a sexual relationship, or don't fully understand one. Are you fearful of social situations, men in particular? This could be a phobia your subconscious is communicating to you. Even without the sexual/rape nature of the dream, are you or do you feel like you are running from something in your everyday life? Stress, commitment, intimacy? Without knowing you, your history, or your lifestyles it is hard to assess. I hope that my answers and further questions allow you some deep thinking and possible closure. Good luck.

Just a guess, but maybe the purpose of the dream is differnt from sesxual contact. Maybe it shows that guys are constantly in your life are trying to stop you from reaching your goals, but eery time you manage to escape around them only for them to come again and stop you. Maybe what the dream is trying to tell you to do is say firmly.(Iv'e had it with you you've troubling me for the past eight years. Get out of my life so I can be more succsefuel.) By applying both principals in real life you can maybe stop the dream and maybe even the real life occurence.
