I have very dry skin and absolutely LOVE St. Ives whipped silk lotion. Smells great too.

However, a true expert in this area would be my sister. She has obssessive-compulsive disorder and washes her hands constantly -- therefore horribly cracked and bleeding skin. She started using Curel and her hands and arms now look great.

Sounds gross but at farm stors is a product called "Bag Balm" It's for cows udders and it's pretty good.
Or at a drug store "Corn Huskers Lotion" I'm a mechanic and have bad dry skin all the time!

You could try putting vaseline on your hands at night with cotton gloves over that (can get cotton gloves at a pharmacy). Or corn husker's lotion. Or Aquaphor Ointment (see pharmacist) with cotton gloves at night. Or Bag Balm (see pharmacist) with cotton gloves at night.

cow udder stuff ive heard of. my husband uses johnson and johnsons soothng naturals for his extremely dry sking, seems to be the only thing that works and its the only thing that doesnt make my daughter break out in a rash. its in the baby aisle and alittle expensive but a small drop goes a long way. good luck

Put vaseline on your hands at night before you go to bed. Also good for feet!
