I would say that they are the same now as they've always been -- the commandments are timeless and never expire.
1. You shall have no other gods before Me
2. You shall not make for yourself an idol
3. You shall not make wrongful use of the name of your God
4. Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy
5. Honor your parents
6. You shall not murder
7. You shall not commit adultery
8. You shall not steal
9. You shall not bear false witness
10.You shall not covet your neighbor's wife or house
I would say, however, that people in general have a hard time with numbers 4, 5, and 10. Maybe you could write about that.
Good luck!

Why should we have new commandments for today? God gave Moses 10 commandments when him and the Israelites were in the desert. I don't think that God needs to update it.

My guess is people would say "do whatever you want morals aren't absolute" which isn't true btw morals were set up in scripture and they are written in stone. No adding or subtracting.God doesn't change
