i am playing my guitar and trying to find a piece by mozart called greensleeves. I have the tune itself for guitar, but its hard for me to find a chord being played, is there a site where i can type in the name of a piece of music and see a score or sheet music for free? an online music library kind of deal? would be easier if i could also see the music and play along with it.

Mozart is not the composer of
"Greensleeves." The composition is attributed to Henry VIII of England.

Greensleeves is a common name for many different songs around the renaissance. I know the popular one you are talking about, and the composer is anonymous, as many were at that time period.
It should be simple to find in sheet music or even tablature. Be prepared to play a lot in A and G.
That was funny when I read Mozart.
Keep up the playing. Remember, it is played at a moderate tempo, not that slow xmas 'put to words' garbage. Play it lively and make people want to dance.

I think this one is made for guitar though : http://guitarpeople.com/classical/arranging1.gif

For more, go to Yahoo Images, and type in "Greensleeves sheet music"

They have the music divided up by instrument. I haven't looked at anything other then the flute section. However, if you go in under the guitar section it might give you the tabs to it.

Or, if you know the notes in the chord, post it and I can tell you what chord it is.
