This question addresses two kinds of "the religious"
1) Those who define themselves as part of an organized religion, usually Christianity. Guys, get a GRIP. All I see on this and other websites is garbage like "I can prove God exists, take that atheists!" or "because God is awesome" Believers are called to evangelize, not thrust in others' faces.
"But, but Justin, the apostles did it!" WRONG, they only did so when forced or when talking to those willing to listen (even then will well organized, devoloped arguments). These non-believers won't listen, leave them be.
2) Those who don't believe in God. Although not an organized religion, the belief that you don't believe is a belief in itself. Hence, a religion. Get a life and quit taking every opportunity to bash believers. For crying out loud, respect people enough to lay off unprovoked attacks on those who don't think like you.
You know who you are.
I believe what I believe and just want to live my life.

Yes, it is hard to just live my life when I constantly see what I believe under attack.

Woah! I called myself an apostle?! That's sweet, can I have another pl0x!!11!?
To attack the way someone types is childish and downright lame (dude). Tell me, if you were debating a guy (although this is hardly a debate, it's more of two random strangers picking a fight over the internet, I'm shaking, sweetheart), and he had a speech impediment would you go as far as saying "His argument is crap because he doesn't speak correctly"?
Anyway, you failed to look at the core argument, and chose to attack the way I type, making you a poo-head.
All hail the poo-head. The apostle has spoken!

I know exactly what you're saying I mean there have been so many wars in the name of "GOD" I think that if there is a god that he wouldn't want us to kill each other so why do people have to try to push their beliefs into everyone else's heads it's just wrong.

Actually, the apostles, according to the New Testament, did infact preach to the non-belivers, and not under any sort of duress. Their arguments, if that is what they can be called, were not particularly founded in anything but faith, and their primary focus was on the world as they knew it. They preached to Jews and Romans because these were the people that lived near enough to preach to.
Atheists have their points and it is reasonable to listen to them. One may dissagree, but the argument is really over opinion. There are no real facts either way.

Justin, you bragged too much of your little knowledge about religious group, so much so with your little knowledge of English language. You thought of yourself that you have constructed a very good and deepening sentences but in fact and in truth you have plenty of unnecessary mixture of words which do not belong to its other. Your construction of English sentences are wrong and could not be understood of what you really mean because of its many mixture.
Yes it is true that I know who I am but you also know who you are. You even call yourself as apostle. Are you apostle of wrong English sentences?
Okay, I agree we believe what we believe, but what. is the problem on your part . What do you mean by blasted ignorant?Don't you know that blasted means expression of annoyance and ignorant means lacking knowledge or unaware of something. You must reconstruct your question.

Non-Religious people are no better than the religious folks they attack...they are doing the same in-your-face crap they accuse most Christian's of....it's hilarious how self righteous a person can be when pointing out the perceived flaws of someone else. A good long look in the mirror might be called for.

Justin, your intention in posting this was only to provoke. I have no answer for you. No matter what I say, you will not change your opinion about me, just because I am a Christian. I have no opinion about you, I don't even know you.

Yes, the best way to be an intermediary is to attack both groups. You are certainly a role model for diplomacy.

It's hard to go from being ignorant to being intelligent. That's what's ironic about calling Creationism the new name of Intelligent Design.

Please stop crying out loud long enough to reanalyze your incorrect portrayal of atheists as followers of a religion. Why do you say that? Is it religion that you do not understand, or is it atheism that you do not understand?
