Well, I have a same problem. I have a fence that go around the backyards, And also you could buy a leach that wrap around the tree and that can hold him away from your friends!

Put her on a leash and make her obey you. Use a strong voice and do not give into her. If you do then she'll always get her way. Right now she's aggressive towards anyone that comes to your house because she is over protective and you let her get away with it so she knows she can. So put her on a leash and then have a friend walk in the house when she goes to attack pull back on her leash hard telling her no. Leave her on her leash and this is a way of changing her boundary's so that the way she acts is how you want her too. Also it could help to have another maybe 2 more dogs that she hasn't been around that are trained. It could help to see how other dogs act.

If she is actually biting this is dangerous. She's under the allusion she's top dog but doesn't know how to handle it. You need to socialise her more - take her to training classes where she'll start to learn that you play that role and for walks where she'll see but not need to interact with lots of people and while you control her on the lead.
To make her realise her place you should ignore her when you enter the house and only acknowledge her when she has waited quietly for your attention for 5 minutes. The speak to her.
When people come to your house tell them to IGNORE the dog, not even to look at her. Your friends must be consistent in this. When she accepts her position she will realise the visitors have come to see you, the pack leader, and are not a threat if you have allowed them in so she should not feel the need to challenge them. She will happily let you control the situation and be much more relaxed.
If your friends cannot comply you should remove her from the room when visitors call or she will cause injury and you wil need to consider the ultimate penalty for her.
Best of luck

uh oh. That is a serious problem. I haven't heard of an agressive Springer Spaniel before. The border collies have an instinct to keep people together in a group..You must keep her in a leash and choke collar and correct her firmly any time she starts to show agressive behavior. Make her stay in "down stay" next to you when your friends visit. Don't let this one slip without correcting it, it could cost you alot if she hurts someone.

This is too complex and dangerous to be dealt with here, you need a dog trainer. You can get a referral to a behavioural trianer from your vet, get someone that specialises in aggression.
Until then, muzzle your dog if theres any risk. Learn how to control it on the lead, and use both a lead and muzzle if anyone calls.
Its going to take a lot of hard work for you to fix the problem.

Dogs are considered pack animals. She thinks she is the pack leader. You have to teach her that humans are above her totally. Put her on a leash and keep the collar up high just below the ears. Correct her the second she tries to be the boss. Practice this every time somebody comes over.

this is a training and socialization issue and I'm guessing that she is not getting enough exercise. border collies and springers are both hunting/working dogs and need jobs to do as well as a lot of exercise.

border collies are herding dogs that NEED TO WORK ,,, springers are hunting dogs that NEED LOTS OF EXERCISE.... you need to provide daily mental and physical stimulation to this dog.. enroll in obedience classes and also try agility.. you have a high energy dog who will get bad habits if you don't supply him with things to do

You need to train it stop/heal and once it gets the hang of it give it a treat to reward it for doing the trick then it might safer to bring your friends over.

how old? Obedience class? Control her, scold her when she does something bad and make sure she becomes socialized or its just going to get worse. Also sounds like a dominance issue. You have to step in & be the dominant one. Once she sees you (and your family) as dominant, you should be able to control her more. obedience school definately.
