Hi. I have two boys that I would like to buy this for. My 10 year old loves sports but hates to run to stay fit and has gained some weight over the winter. The trampoline would be a great fun way for him to get active. My 5 year old is in physical therapy and the jumping would be great exercise for him too. He is really clumsy though and I worry he will fall off. Is the enclosure really helpfully in keeping the kids in? Of course I will be out there, especially with the little one, but even with me right there he could fall off! Any experience or advise? Thanks!

Of course its safer than not having an enclosure at all, but can they slip through or anything?

Actually, true statistic, the highest percentage of emergency room visits from children are the result of trampolines, enclosures or not.

as long as you have the encloser, you will not have to worry about your kids falling off. however, the encloser doesnt always make the trampoline safer. trampolines tend to be very dangerous and even with the encloser, there is still a possibility that one of your kids could end up breaking a bone or even some other injuries just from landing the wrong way on the trampoline. but if you are going to get a trampoline, definitly get the encloser.

It will be fine so your kids dont fall off and break their necks but i broke my foot on one and that didnt involve any of the net

but that was also the only thing and we had our trampoline for about 9 years

my mother had 9 kids and we all used the trampoline! as long as you are watching them it should be fine. do not let them go on at the same time beacuse they may bump heads but it is fun and safe and a grate way to get exercise!

NO. It can do a lot of damage to you knees. If you lock them on accident you can really mess them up. Just ask my best freind who know has cronic knee pain from someone double jumping. She has been living with knee pain for over 10 years now.

I hyper-extended my knee on one, and it didn't involve any falling off.

I would say no, that was the single most painful thing I have ever done to myself :(
