I was told this the other night and I am distressed because goats are nice animals! My friend said they do it to be accepted in the kingdom hall of fame?

Your friend is wrong and I think is trying to tease you. I studied with Witnesses, went to the Kingdom Hall many times and have many Witness friends. I have never heard of such a thing. You can relax, it is not true. :-)

Boy have you ever got your facts wrong....
I studied this religion once....and at no time did anyone slaughter a goat.....YOUR FRIEND is just trying to insite trouble....people tend to make things up about other peoples religion, when they won't or can't understand what they are about....to bad more people don't look into the truth of statements before they believe everything people say....

I am a Jehovahs Witnesses. I have NEVER in my life heard that one before. ;-)

There are many misconceptions about us. We actually dont have to do anything to be "accepted" be in the Kingdom Hall. Anyone can come.

Well Katy,
If you would take off the swim wear from around your head, you might realize that everything said is not necessarily true.
There is something called hearsay.
There is something called exaggeration.
There is something called lies.
There is something called prejudice.
Then, of course, there is you ....a silly ridiculer.
