Get a book or DVD discussing the issue, and watch it together. It's Potty Time, or Elmo are favorites. Make a special trip to the store for her to pick out big girl underwear. Then, make sure she is aware that it's a grown up thing to use the potty. Let her know that you use it, and it's okay. Have the potty chair out at all times, and when you walk past it, take time out to refer to it. Let her flush your bathroom toilet for fun. Just make a big deal about how fun and cool it is, and she'll catch on

Buy the child seat attachment for your regular toilet and then give your daughter the option of using either one. It's not that she doesn't trust it or is scared--it's that it is new and different and testing you has maybe worked in her favor in the past on occasion. If you started potty training a year ago, it seems like you gave up if she only went a few times. You need to get rid of the diapers and consistently stick her on the potty or the big girl potty seat. Don't just do it cold turkey one day. Sit her down and tell her. Buy TONS of undies and get them in her favorite characters so she'll want them on. Stick her on the toilet every 1/2 hr to hr and let her choose which one. Whatever you do, make sure that you tell her what the routine will be when she does sit on the potty before you start training and talk it up. "You're going to go potty on the big girl potty from now on. You're so special! When it's time to go, mommy will say, 'it's time to try to go potty' and you will run in and try, even if you don't think you have to go." Make sure to get her agreement on the new routine before starting. The first 2 weeks will be hard.

First of all you did not say how ancient she is.. You will have to be very sufferer, that is very fundamental and under no circumstances drive her to make use of the potty, have you ever attempted the potty seat that attaches for your rest room seat? I have potted teacher part of the county that I reside in, due to the fact that every body concept I had the reply. Some folks will accept as true with my procedure and others disagree.. what I have determined to make use of to be triumphant is M&M's I position a jar of M7M's in my rest room, I provide an explanation for that in case you peepee you get 2, in case you poop you get three, take the youngster frequently to the potty, in the event that they do their process provide them the appropiate quantity of M&M's if they do not do something, do not provide them any, they'll quickly attach the 2 matters in combination and you're going to uncover her going for walks to the potty.. well good fortune

Children learn from what they see. Start by taking your daughter with you. Let her see how big girls use the potty and wash their hands. Soon she is going to want big girl underware and to use it like Mommy does. That is how my son learned, he went with his father and one day he started going alone. Good luck.

If you buy her one of those little kids toliets that should be one thing to help. And use her favorite doll and make the doll "go to the bathroom" and then she may possibly trust it because of her doll and the fact that its her own toliet.

Have her go to the washroom with you. Say, look, mommy does it, and is fine. If it is a chair one, put it in the livingroom and have her sit on it.
