How do you know "yourself" isn't moving towards maturity? First of all you are hearing them...second of all you know what is going on with you... 19 is not an infant and consider this, even infants know their parents and get familiarized with reaction from others sooner than you think.
Caring about what other people think also means you are on the road to maturity. Blow off any other advice and here's why....does it really make sense to tell people their boss doesn't care if a person is doing their job or not? I guess it might make sense if the master manipulater was after the your job. Does it really make sense to say to people....naw don't grow up, don't listen to your parents guidance, don't follow rules, buck authority...you can do what ever you please etc? Well, one can do what ever they please however, those closest to us shouldn't be encouraging us to fail.
Watch out for the drama....the world is full of people who want you to fail for various reasons. Some of them never had caring parents(jealousy) others feel bad and wish for you to go down(lack of maturity). Toss that advice like a dirty diaper ...it goes in the trash and do it with confidence. At 19 it should be no secret to you that you weren't born just to remain a child - followed by parents, teachers, etc wasting there time directing you slowly towards adulthood. Now it's time to start combining your wishes with theirs....pretty soon much of your life will no longer seem like wishful thinking.

Change is often an event that brings one person to maturity. Having pesonal triumphs over hardships, difficult experiences and emotional battles usually makes one a bit wiser and ahead of her years. If many people, including those you love, think you are too spoiled then probably, life hasn't knocked you out so bad yet, and are seeing the world in rose-colored glasses. Instead of hanging out at the mall, enlist yourself with church or community events, you will learn a great deal about your world from your involvement. If you haven't yet, take on a (part-time) job to know how it is to have responsibility and keep at it. Hopefully, your new experiences will introduce you to a whole new level of maturity that is appropriate for your age.

Refusal to change itself is a sign of childish behaviour which you want to so change. Now the point is to retain your child like innocence which gives you a wonderful perspective to all situations in life.
But do not ever confuse it with an attitude that everything should go my way, or it is not perfect. That is childishness.
Also not acknowledging other contribution to our life an d enrichment is also a childlike behaviour as a child tends to take everything for grated and ever lasting, nothing is eternal, no thing is permanent lets cherish every moment here on the planet.

Are you spoiled? No one becomes spoiled if they aren't spoiled as children. Who spoils children? Parents. So blame them.
Tell your boyfriend if he's not part of the solution he's part of the problem and he can find himself someone who's not so "childish".
The way to become more mature? Life. Independence. Experiences. Learning about the nature of people.
You're 19, enjoy your last year of being a teenager. Be yourself, but know when to hold your tongue and let others have an opinion, without compromising your own opinion.

The fact that you care about what others think of you is immaturity in itself. When you mature you don't worry about what others think of you, you do whatever makes you happy. They treat you like that because they no it gets to you, the minute you show them you don't care and you'll do what ever suits your desires they'll stop because they'll see their wasting there time. But this is easly said than done maturity takes time and experience is the best teacher so keep living.
