i have tried numerous ways to control my Pom (3 yrs+) but to no avil, he would bark non stop at strangers/ shadows or even family members whom he feel has passed his territorial, since puppy he has been classified by the Vet as a very dominent dog, tts y i would think of buying a bark-control collar instead of debarking him or even gave him away, he is too barky, even if i gave him away, trusts he would be in an even worse care. Maybe ppl who dun understand should not reply to my question, tks.

well, barking is natural for dog. and you should not force your dog not to bark and beside, before you own a dog, you know that they are barking. giving or putting an anti- bark collar to them makes them less than a dog. just imagine your self talking to much and your master or parents wants to buy an anti-talking collar? how would you feel? if you want to terrorize your pet better bring him to the community pet pricint and have it adopted!!!

Small dogs bark. That is how they defend themselves and their owners. People don't mind. Keep the neighbourhood safe from strangers.

Before you buy one. Test it out on your neck. Maybe a youtube video will help you give up the foolhardy idea.

BTW, have you tried water spray? Shoot her with it when she barks. I saw it work in Mike Meyers "The spy who shxgged me"

You know, I just have to say this...It sadden me when someone buys a puppy and right away they want to know about crates, shock collars, bark collars. What happen when people use to take care of their animals. With this fast pace world we all live in I guess it is a lot easier to throw them in crates, put shock collars on them, and bark collar on them rather to spend time with them to teach them. I use to feel sorry for dogs that were chain outside now I feel sorry for the ones that go to homes who wants to know about crates, shock collars and bark collars. What is this world doing to dogs. I just don't understand the way people are thinking here. It just saddens me. I for one will never use anything on my dogs.. I chose my dogs to take care of not to put in a crate for 8 hours because I am to lazy to watch them or work during the day or go to school , Nor put bark collars on them when they are doing things that are natural..or shock collars on them to train them.

I think your best bet is to purchase one on ebay and get it shipped to Singapore. I found a seller who sells these collars and ships to Singapore.
