I'm organizing my room, and I want to turn the collection of shoeboxes I have into something really cool that I can use to organize stuff.

I don't want to make any useless art projects that I'll throw out, and I don't want to just put stuff in the shoeboxes. I want to connect them somehow... and use it for something...

But I'm stuck. Any ideas?

you could save them for Operation Christmas Child.

You could string the shoeboxes together and paint them to look like a train. Little kids would love to play with that. You could also put in some cushioning and convert it into a bed for pets.

You could try lining them up, stapling them together, then if you wanted to do alittle artisy thing, you could glue a nice material covering over it all. You could also check at the joAnn fabric store for good ideas.

well I guess the diorama is out......if you don't use them to store shoes, then throw them out. they are useless clutter. Cardboard does not retain its shape and will get old, dusty and moldy. Donate them to a school for projects that they can throw out at the end of the year.

You should be creative with them and make a few Easter dec. but also keep some handy incase of a school project.

Wrap them in paper that matches colorwise, all sorts of paper. Then stack them in a way that sort of mocks a room divider.

You could store shoes in them. Then they won't be wasted.
