Or does the Watchtower forbid it because you might discover the truth for yourself, as it does about the Bible in its original translation?

As being a jehovahs witnesses, we are allowed to use the internet, of course. We are not forbidden to do anything, we are just guided by the brothers and sisters in the New York Branch to continue a faithful course, and not do anything that could harm our spirituality and relationship with Jehovah.

Most people don't understand that our bible is NOT made up. If you look at any bible, you will see that ours says the same thing. The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures is the bible we use. The only thing different is that it is revised to modern day language, so there are no "thous" and "thees" etc. etc.

Alot of people do not understand Jehovahs Witnesses and what we do and believe. They are simply misguided to believe we are a cult, don't believe in jesus, etc. etc. Which we are neither. I suggest going to our official website and emailing the New York Branch to see who we really are what what we believe.

This is a bit of a strange question...

If JW's were not allowed to go on the internet, could I ask how you expect them to see and answer your question???

I am a Christian by the way and believe the JW's to be in error, but I couldn't resist commenting on your question :-)
