Seems like I always have to remind myself that I am under the Grace of God. While I'm in this life I will fall short of the image of Jesus Christ, but I'm in a process of moving from glory to glory. If I think too much about my shortcomings, I have guilt and depression, but if I remember that God will finish the work that he began in me, then I have joy. Is this your experience too?

Sometimes....I get guilt when I realize that Christ suffered for all that I have done or will do....But I feel comfort when I think about how he did this freely for me because he loves me....

I worry a lot that I am abusing his Grace by continuing to sin. Both Peter 2:17 or so and Jude 1:4 expressly condemn using God's grace as a freedom to sin. But we should remember that his Grace is sufficient for us, and that through him we could be transformed. We just have to be willing to do it.
