Merits:
1> You are never alone,
2> You wiull always find wisodm by your side,
3> You get an opportunity to say thanks in differenbt ways for your family who has always been with you in all conditions...
Demerits:
1> You lose indivuadualtiy.
2> Interference.
Well but, don't you think we interfered our parents personal life when we came into this world? Didn't they lose their individuality just to raise us in a way so that we can live independently? We have become so selfish, we cannot even manage to give personal attention to the people who had sacrificed so much for us. Don't you think we have turned into thankless brats?

Advantages???
Lots of advantages are there.
The value of family relationships is more visible in case of joint family.
I think there will be less chance for a person to be trapped.
By person, I meant children.
One will become more open-minded.
More safety, in today's world.......etc..etc...
Disadvantages???
There are some disadvantages too. I don't know whether it can be disadvantage.But still...
More adjustment will be needed.The views of a person may be different from his/her parents or their children.
So inorder to maintain a good peace all around the house, we need adjustment. Without adjustment, life can be difficult which is a fact....
Different opinions on the same subject can arise, which may lead to a state of confusion.But, there is a solution for this too,if we try to find out some.
There are lots 'plus' and 'minus' if we consider anything in the world.
Anyway,its better to heed the family relationships.A good relation is a gate to good life.

When living in a joint family, there's never a dull moment. There's always someone to talk to when you need help, or when you're feeling down. There's always someone to look out for you. But it might also mean having less privacy and less time to have to yourself.
