You might find it interesting to do some research into how religions spread. Islam, for one, did not spread so quickly due to its truth value, but due to the might of its sword. When given a choice between death and conversion, people tend to convert in droves. Peer pressure is also important. Muslims love to kill their neighbors if they want to reject Islam. Or, when you say spread rapidly, perhaps you are referring to the high population growth of third world countries? In any case, what could "truth" possibly have to do with anything in this context?

i wonder how many people realise that muslims pray to the God of Abraham, which is the God of jews, catholics and christians. I wonder how many realise that our beliefs are all so similiar, unlike how the media always tries to potray it.
i wonder when ppl will stop being ignorant and would actually go and find out more about other peoples religion before making such comments.
sorry for not really answering your questions though. but on this side of the world, people arent afraid.

The most popular religion will always be the one that appeals the most to our egos -- anything that tells us that there are people who will make it into heaven (and are on the deity's good side) versus those who won't (and who are on the deity's bad side), anything that tells us that our individuality will live on forever, anything that supports a judgemental deity, etc. The very very very small fraction of people who actually experience the real God are ALWAYS drowned out -- they did it with Jesus (and dramatically changed his message) and people do it today. Islam will appeal to people just as Christianity does -- because it appeals to people's egos.

Most of the people converting are men in prison bcuz all they do is read in jail nd they hav figured out themselves that islam is the truth

I don't think anyone is afraid. In america it's ok to seek the truth, thats the way god would want it. People just find it in different places, and different ways. If everyone in america followed islam by their own free will then so be it.

The more islam spreads the more terrorism and suicide bombers will spread, just like gangs in America, the more gangs spread, the more drive by shootings spread,a and innocent lives are killed or murdered.
