No. Ear rings are not prosthesis, nor is a bullet lodged into your body that you can't remove.

The exciting part would be to be able to walk or drive again if your arm or leg was blown off or torn off or rotten off with a disease. Also you could make tools for your fake arm so you could cut wood !

The first link below is for a prosthesis maker company.

Look at the link below this answer.

>>>are there any risk?>>>

Some people who have leg prosthesis find the wear and tear on their leg tissure too much if they run or walk a lot. Some find their fake legs get stuck in rain drains or sewer lids or other machinery like escalators. Some arm prosthesis can get caught in sewing machines and other machinery as well. But then so can long hair and fingers, so it is not that bad of a risk.

Yes, metal and plastic do not help immunity, however, they also might be able to be made out of allergy free material or perhaps be made out of material that can be cleaned easily.

Well - clothing is not usually considered a prosthesis

Usually a thing attached to a human is called a prosthesis if it is made to replace a missing human body part.

For example, if someone has had their arm cut off - they might be fitted for a mechanical arm which they can use in place of their missing arm. Some mechanical arms have little graspers which can be manipulated by the remaining muscle ends of the arm stump. Other prostheses are more simple - such as a hook.
