Hm, you said you are feeding her purina, that brand isnt on the list of recalled foods. But i wouldnt recommend any 'market' foods for felines or canines.
Natural is better. Check out Raw Insticts, Felidae, Wellness. Check their sites out. Youll be please.
As for your feline vomitting, it could be numerous things and not ness. the food she has consumed.
I would consult a Vet.

Is she extremely thirsty? That could be another sign of posioning.
My cat throws up from time to time, and had always been better a few minutes later. It may be nothing to worry about.
The recalls effect cans and pouches only. Not dry food. If you have dry food, they shouldn't get sick.
If you are still uneasy, just take your cat to the vet. Especilly if she vomits again.

Does she have a hairball? Usually when cats vomit it's because they have hairballs. You can go to the pet store and get hairball remedies to fix that. Either that or take your kitty to the vet just to make sure there isn't something more serious going on. Good Luck! =]

You answered my question. Seems our cats may have the same problem. I copied my question and your answer and emailed them to Purina. If I hear anything back from them, I'll send you the answer. This has me so worried. My cat will be 15 years old this summer.

That is not on the list of recalled foods. She should be ok. Maybe she just had a hairball. I would keep an eye on her for a day or two just to make sure she's ok.

I have one cat who throws up dried food quite often but he eats it very quickly and I think that's the cause.
It could also be furballs - try a small amount of olive oil on wet food - it should make the fur 'slip through'

did you check to see if your brand was supplied by that company who acknowledged they put rat poisoning in the mix?
