Try Practical Poultry magazine (which you can find in larger WH Smiths stores) and the forum. You can also look in Country Smallholding magazine (also at WHS)

Wherever you are and whatever you have in mind looking for what you are, it is strongly recommended that you should drop the idea of hunting for chicks/hens in these days of 'BIRD FLU' hitting various parts of the world, threatening an epidemic!
