She's had excessive vomiting, drinking unusual amounts of water, lethargic. I have had her to the vet twice. Her blood work came back normal. But her termperature is 99.3 and blood pressure was 208. She eats either 9 Lives or Friskies canned ground food and Purina Sensitive Stomach dry food.

Your cat may be sick from something else, and not related to this issue. :). Do keep an eye on her and take her to a veterinarin who you trust well. Sounds like your current vet is being careless. Good luck.

My mother's dog has been at the vets for the past two days. Give her nothing but dry food for now until all this passes. Throw away whatever canned you have at the moment and just take good care of her. If it gets worse bring her back to the vet, but you may even want to try a different vet, because regardless of weather or not it's caused by the food, she does have a problem that the vet should have attempted to diagnose and treat before sending her home. Good luck!

I have been feeding friskies. I have discontinued it, because I noticed odd behavior in my cats. They are laying around and throwing up. I am probably taking at least one to the vet tomorrow, if he is not better. I have 11 cats. I feed 2 cans a day as a treat, along with their hard food. Friskies web sight tells me that their food is not part of the recall. I believe that it should be. I hope this helps. PLEASE DISCONTINUE FEEDING ALL SOFT FOODS. They are really scaring me. If you have to, add water to a hard food for your cat.

Of course. Symptoms like have have been around way before the bad pet food. Pets can suffer from thousands of ailments..just like people.
