Nothings better than a good T-bone. Put a little garlic salt and a little seasoned pepper on it. mmmmm-mmmmm.

This is a difficult question. One of our favorite recipies is an excellent Thai salad with tri-tip from the Weber Big Book of Grilling, but there are also few things better than a nice t-bone, medium rare (fresh minced garlic and lots of cracked fresh pepper for me). On this one I rely on the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com to make sure that everyone's steak comes out just the way they like it.

Tough question. I like them both. Today will be hot here so I'll go for the tri-tip. What time do we eat?
Have you tried the flat iron steak yet? Close to the tri-tip but, more tender.

I'd have to go with the t-bone. Don't ask why, but I have this un-natural hatred of tri-tip.
