Not normal at all. Either your exercise form is seriously wrong, or you have some underlying mineral deficiencies you need to address.

Calcium, magnesium, potassium and boron are especially good for the gums and if you don't have enough of these in the diet, you may experience problems.

The best way to address those deficiences is to eat raw, whole foods from health food stores.

Yes, organic is best, but don't make the mistake of thinking that veganism or vegetarianism is good for you. Many people today in natural health think that meat is bad for you, but it's really not. Eat organic, free range and in moderate quantities and you will not have any problems whatsoever.

Also look to supplement your diet. Coral calcium is great because it contains over 75 minerals (including those mentioned above) in their natural proportions. Get it from www.wellnessresources.com. Remember that liquid form or powder form of supplements is best. Pills are not as well absorbed.

Good luck!

Maybe not normal, but certainly not abnormal. I find that when I go for long runs over 5 miles that my jaw starts to hurt. I think that it's from when I relax it when I'm running it starts to bounce ever so slightly. I also find that when I complete a heavy lifting workout that my jaw and teeth hurt. This is from the clenching of my teeth during the heavy reps.
