Absolutely.
I watched the Al Quaeda top car bomb expert die in Iraq in 2004 (on a live video feed).
Another thing people should consider is how long it will take to rebuild military morale if the troops are not allowed to win.

Sort of. The issue in Iraq is a civil war (Sunni vs Shi'ite) primarily. It's the power struggle post Saddam.
It also provides a low cost, easy to manage place where the western haters (Al Qaeda) can kill Westerners and get away with it.
When the US bails out of Iraq, expect the attacks to start moving a little closer to home.

Probably, but the cost of the war is not worth the meager benefits. We have lost close to 4,000 American lives because of Bush's invasion of Iraq. Many muslims who didn't hate America before the invasion, now do hate us and they are joining Al Qaeda and other Islamic Jihadist groups by the thousands. The Iraq invasion was an incredibly stupid idea that was bungled from the start.
The cost of the Iraq war wil probably be over 600 billion before we are out of there. This money could have gone to secure our borders with our enemy, Mexico, and hardening vulnerable targets in the US.

it is helping us to eliminate alot of the terrorists workings to a great extent all over the place. solving the problem in iraq is monumental in size. remember too that volunteers are fighting the war. somehow this is overlooked alot here. w/o our intervention, there probably would have been another attack here like the 911 one.

Do you play FOOTBALL?
You win by backing your opponent into his RED ZONE and not leting him out of it.
Meanwhile you score at every opportunity.
They scored a touchdown on 911 and it looked bad for the home team.
We took the ball and have kept it ever since.
Now,their offence is non-existant and their defense is getting hammered.
It's late in the 4th quarter and we still have the ball, playing offense and the opposing fans are leaving the stadium.

never, what had just happend is truly selfish of the president of America that fear of loss against small country such Iraq.
eg. If someone want to murder you, he will do whatever it needs... thus, by blaming on the other side will not resolve your problem.

No...Any body on a mission, can easily strap on an explosive and walk into the nearest Wal-mart and detonate. This 'war" is stopping nothing, and by their own admission, the current administration states it can't be stopped.
