I've had 2 cats have kittens over the last few years and one thing I learnt with the first litter is that there is a point at which you can't help the kitten alone. Two of my kittens from that litter of 4 died. I spent every night and every morning with the second litter to make sure all 5 of them survived. It was a lot of work, making sure they all fed, every morning and every night. Getting up to check on them in the middle of the night. It's so much hard work but it was worth it.

If you really want to save this kitten, which no doubt you do, you need to take them all to the vet. You asked this question over half an hour ago and I hope by now you've taken your cat and the litter down to the vet.

Good luck. I hope they all survive.

There are a couple of things you can do (the 2nd one will sound mean):

1) Take your cat to a vet and let them give you special formula
2) Keep the kitty till it dies, it is what some mother cats do, it happens in nature all the time, if a mother animal sees her baby as unfit or not going to survive she will ignore it and let it die. In fact it happened with a polar bear in Germany just this week.

This is CRITICAL. Newborn kittens cannot urinate on their own. If she is still alive at this time and you cannot get her to a vet, take your finger, or a small damp cloth and rub from the center of her belly up to her butt. See if anything comes out. Keep doing this until nothing comes out. Be gentle. Babies are really fragile. I have raised baby kittens from 1 day old and up. It is work. They have to be urinated about every two to three hours, depending on how much the ingest. Also, if you are feeding her cows milk, she is not getting proper nutrition. She needs pet milk.

Sending huggs and prayers to you and Kitty. Yes, do call and take her to the vet immediately. Something isn't right with this little girl. She needs help.

I will look up some info and get back to you. :). I believe the mother isn't in good health either, and this causes the little darling to not survive well.

I hate to say this and am almost crying for you. chances are this kitten is going to die. And without immediate vet care, she most certainly will. if it is dehydrating, try to get some sugar water into it as much as possible, sounds to me like she has a raging infection of some kind. If the mother is refusing to feed her, she knows the kitten will not make it.
OH MAN, I feel for you big time.

You should probably take her to the vet and maybe they could give her a vitamin B shot or maybe they could put the poor wee thing out of its misery. I know it is a hard decision but maybe she was just not ready to be born yet. Please think of the little kitten and her needs above your desire to keep her alive. God bless you and give you courage on your decision.

Keep her warm and take her to the vets. It sounds like she's in shock. She's little and she might be dehydrated and need IV fluids.
