I think it is best when it is most simple.....
Serve it with capers and chopped red onion.
You could also make a flavored mayo by adding herbs, (dill and tarragon are good choices), a dab of Dijon, a squirt of lemon and some salt and pepper, to serve with it.

Cut slits in the salmon (through the scales) and sprinkle salt in side and put it in a frying pan with as little oil as possible. As soon as it is done(don't let it wait) place it on a cream cheese salad which is what ever salad leaves you like mixed in a light cream cheese sauce that you make by putting some cream cheese in a pot and melt it with a little bit of butter in the pan melted first. Place the salmon on the plain lettuce and pour all the sauce over and sprinkle with bacon bits and/or croutons.
Lovely Jubly!

Smoked Salmon Pizza
Ingredients:
Crust:
2 cups all-purpose Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp granulated Sugar
2 tsp fast-rising Yeast
1 Tbsp Olive or Vegetable Oil
3/4 cup warm Water
Toppings:
1 large Tomato, chopped
1 to 2 cloves Garlic, minced
6 to 8 Green Onions, chopped
freshly ground Pepper
2 Tbsp chopped fresh Dill
2 cups grated Asiago Cheese
4 oz Smoked Salmon, cut into bite-size pieces
1 Tbsp Capers, drained
Directions
To prepare dough, mix 1 cup of the flour, salt, sugar and yeast in a large bowl. Pour oil into water; add to yeast mixture. Mix thoroughly. Add remaining flour; knead for 3 to 5 minutes on a floured surface. Put in a greased bowl, cover and place in a warm spot for 40 minutes or until needed. Dough can be made in the morning and kept in the refrigerator. Let it warm up for about 1 hour before using. The dough is very forgiving. Stretch dough out on an ungreased medium pizza pan or cookie sheet just before you are ready to assemble the pizza. Preheat oven to 475F. In a small bowl, mix tomato, garlic, green onions, pepper and dill. Spread this mixture directly on pizza crust. Sprinkle Asiago cheese on top. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes on lower rack of oven. Remove from oven. Spread smoked salmon and capers on top; return to oven for 3 minutes. Makes a delicious 8 slice pizza!

I would serve assorted crackers, plain and chive cream cheese, lemon and tomato slices - they are tasty with smoked salmon and give nice color to the foods. Mini bagels halved are nice too, or bagel chips. Have a fun day! EDITED TO ADD: The Pepperidge Farms cracker assortment is nice - 4 different sleeves of crackers, without 4 open boxes.

Smoked salmon is lovely served with scrambled egg. just add in when ready to serve.
I love it on brown soda bread with butter, cucumber, lettuce and black pepper.
It is also nice served on a toasted bagel, with cream cheese and chives.
I would not recommend using it as a cooking ingredient, it is meant to be eaten, as is. So it could only be added to something hot, at the very end..
Enjoy..

Are they whole salmon, steaks or strips?
How about trying www.bbc.co.uk/goodfood for inspiration - just pop 'salmon' into the recipe finder and you're away
