I don't think you have to go to a particular place necessarily to get you wishes fulfilled. Your wishes are granted at home also if you have the connection with the God.

Dear Friend,
If our wishes could be fulfilled by visiting a holy place or religious place, ALL PEOPLE WILL THRONG THERE TO GET THEIR WISHES FULFILLED.
Please understand that by visiting a religious place , a holy shrine you will be exposed to the powerful holy vibrations present there because of daily Poojas done and because of the power of Veda mantras chanted .
Your mind is likely to become relaxed and you will receive some positive energy in those places. If you have a strong faith in the deity there, your concentration will get better.
But, remember, by mere praying to a deity or worshipping a deity your wish will never be fulfilled.YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE BEST EFFORT POSSIBLE IN A JUSTIFIED WAY.IF YOU REALLY WORK HARD YOUR WISH WILL BE FULFILLED.Without hard work nothing can be achieved.
Our RISHIS acquired great power through very hard penance and very hard discipline. They never were idle.
So visit the place you like best.If you have faith in that place go there and definitely you will get something .Then do the Hard work.Without effort nothing can be achieved .
All the holy places are really worth visiting and ,if we stay there with our mind calm, we get benefitted certainly. So it should be encouraged.People of any faith should visit their places of worship, their holy places.
Remember the Golden saying '' Krushito Naasti Durbhiksham''( if you work hard , do your best, there will not be dearth for anything)
Hope my answer helps you.
Good luck and may god bless you.

The best religious place is your own home , where your mother and father are your first god. So whenever we find time we go to our ancestral place. This is the most cherished , liked and loved place for all of us , which like a magnet ,pulls us to its nostalgic serenity.
Similarly . a religious place , if it beckons us , or if we long to go to that place , for whatever reason it may be , we are sure to go to that place.
I have so many South Indian friends , whose courage and will power had goaded them to visit the Ayappa Temples on foot!
It is your commitment which removes your obstacles to reach to your destination.
We have a famous story of Vidyasagar , who had swam across a flooded river to meet his mother. Sri Vivekananda also swam to the Rock Temple at Kanyakumari to do his meditation.
So it is correctly said that if you have will , there shall be a way.

Faith moves mountains. Faith and belief are the two bunds of the river spirituality. Every sincere prayer is answered in all the places. It is the spiritual vibe created by so many devotees and rituals add and when you visit such places, Otherwise you will not be having so many pilgrimage centres throughout the world considered holy. nagarajan.

A person's wish will be definitely fulfilled if he does meditation for an hour daily through the process of self-realization under the guidance of a spiritual teacher.

Not at all. My faith rests in God alone. Not in man, not in places. If I find the Holy Graile, I don't expect it to be able to do a thing for me. If I find any relic of Christianity, I don't expect it to be able to do anything for me, except maybe the Ark of the Covenant, and that I'd stay far away from. I just don't believe that God works like that. He wants a personal relationship with His people, not have them trekking to one miracle sight after another. That's why I don't believe in psyionic powers, at least, not that they're from God. More on that if you want to know.

Miracles are worked in many ways. Jesus Himself personally performed many of them, but after His death He worked miracles and granted prayers through His apostles.
And ever since then, prayers have been answered when obtained through the intercession of saints, after the completion of religious pilgrimages and other such devotions.
They have also been answered in the middle of the night when a man simply gets on his knees and asks with faith and humility.
God hears all prayers and sees all true devotion and He will answer our prayers as He sees best.
God bless you.

Only a few people go there to ask for wishes. Most of them go for thanksgiving and mental peace.
Secondly, we call them holy places, not religious places. because, people of any religion can visit those places. A religious place would be confined to just one religion.
All the best...

From your question it can be understood that you are one who can be influenced by others opinions and believes. Instead of questioning, try to do it yourself. You pray the lord with whatever immediate challenge you face in your life in a reasonable way, deeply cry for success in that challenge, drive out your doubts and with wholehearted faith, extend your arms towards Him, and then put the best of your efforts, you will find that you have it. Experience and enjoy.
