So those who are open minded and just don't believe in jesus, those who because god gave them the power to believe what they want don't believe in jesus, those who are brought up to concider different possibilities are sent to hell, a lifetime of torture and punishment? Huh? Because they don't believe in jesus? Believe in what you want but don't spit on the rest of us by telling that we are going to hell if we don't believe in your stupid corrupt religion.

Faith justifies initially, but works perfect and complete our salvation. If all it takes to be saved is "to confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead" (Romans 10,9) then why must I change? Oh sure, I should change my sinful ways. I should try to please God. But if I don't does it really matter? My salvation is assured?

Salvation is a process of perseverance through faith, hope and love. Nowhere in Scripture does it say that one is justified or saved by "faith alone." On the contrary, man is not justified by faith alone. A person is justified by faith and works acting together, which comes solely from God's divine grace. Faith alone never obtains the grace of justification. Also, the word "justified" is the same word Paul uses for justification in Romans 4,3 in regard to Abraham (so Protestants cannot argue James is not referring to "justification" in James 2,24 unless they argue Pail wasn't either in Romans 4,3).

Peace!

Nah, all you have to do to get to heaven is die. Your spirit is immediately wisked from your body at death, and your experience becomes that of pure spirit, which resides in heaven. Heaven is the state of being in which you don't have "firmament," or an earthly existance.

Unfortunately for a lot of people, Christianity hijaced heaven and tried to make it all their own. They spiced it up a bit, and made it sound like something that everyone would want, and then put a wall around it so that you had to go through -their- gate/church to get there.

Don't worry, because they don't own heaven, and they don't own God, or God's Messiah.

NO ONE DOES.

Instead, those who can learn to know God, do get to live through the times of the destruction that await us all. They are the ones that get to live in the much anticipated world of paradise, brought on by the changes predicted with the coming of the Messiah.

Regards,

Chris

We are not spitting on you and telling you you are going to hell. Hell is not our idea it is the word of GOD. I only state the obvious that choices have consequences and according to the word of GOD anyone who does not believe in JESUS and accept HIM as SAVIOR cannot enter heaven. To me the choice was simple and wonderful. I am looking forward to my new life with my SAVIOR and family who have gone on before me. If you have not yet made your choice I caution you to choose wisely the decision is an eternal one. See you at the HOUSE.

Yes, it's what the bible says. You will go to hell if you don't believe or love Him. It may make you mad, but it's the truth. If you would rather spend an eternity in the Kingdom of Heaven, then I suggest that you seek faith in Christ now. Otherwise, it's not going to be pretty.

Who cares? If you don't believe in hell then why care?
Personally I do not shove my religion down other peoples throat. Even religious people have this done to them, very annoying.
Jesus led by example, not by mere words.

If a baby dies, it goes to heaven...so what the flip's the point of accepting Jesus!? Like it'll make a difference if someone died as a baby or as an old prune. Anyways, how I understand it, even if you're a Godly person you can be sent to hell for not accepting jesus as your lord...ok...Anyways, I applaud you.

Getting into heaven is not on my list of 'things to do' this week, Illmatic. I've heard what it's like, and I think it would be a Hell of a place to live, so I won't 'believe in Jesus' just in case.

No; you are closed-minded.

You have closed your mind to God ... to other followers of Christ, and to the effects and warmth of the Holy Spirit.

You have closed your mind on the subject of spiritual religion.

You have closed your mind to the Potential good it does and to all the ACTUAL good that Christians around you do - simply BECAUSE of what they believe.

YOURS IS A CLASSICALLY CLOSED MIND OF A CLASSICALLY SELF-MADE ATHEIST.

yes I agree with you, Christianity and Islam are foolish religions that state they are the only way and all other religions are wrong and unholy. sounds very intolerant to me, but since they were brought up in this faith they have been brain washed since the beginning and most likely they will never give up there illogical beliefs. what is the world to do?
